Join Lindly for a two day exploration inspired by your favorite color. You will learn how to mix different variations of your chosen color, while capturing recipes so that you can duplicate your mixes. Several strategies for investigating great color combinations will be presented through a series of hands on exercises.
Based on what you learn, you will be guided to choose and mix a light and dark designed to enhance your color. You will make a series of color coordinated canes that will be used to make a series of wearable color samples in the form of your choice brooches or a sample bracelet.
Lindly’s version of Damascas Ladder Cane will be presented as a simple technique. It is the basis for harmonious color combinations. The real learning is all about color!
See how three properties of color: valuation, saturation and hue, change when proportion, juxtaposition and surface are adjusted.
The media for this workshop is polymer clay but it is suitable for all skill levels. (We request that you be at least 16 to attend.) Have fun and increase your color confidence! |
